The lion’s shadow

It's been an age since I saw the sun

And I don't remember how this all begun

Crushed under the weight of a tiny thumb

Broken bones applaud me feeling numb

Is there a solution to cure these ills?

Perhaps doctor to sign off some "happy" pills?

No, silent treatment right from the start

Drains the blood from a withered heart

Always rushing to and fro

It's still July but feels like snow

No where to fall from all time Lows

Where is there left for this to go?

And Trust me, I don't wanna fight

This is it, not coming home tonight

I'm not coming home tonight

I'm not coming home tonight
