Devin’s box

Devin entered the antique shop and looked around. He knew what he was looking for.

"Welcome, how may I help you?" asked the shop owner.

"I heard you have a black box here" replied Devin, scratching his nose innocently.

"Oh, you want that do you? Wait there" the shop owner went to the back of the shop and disappeared.

Five minutes later he returned and handed over the box. "you can have it for free. But be careful with it." the shop owner smiled.

Devin stared at the owner and then, with great speed, grabbed the box and ran away.

He ran behind a tree in the park, giddy with excitement, as he opened the box. He'd heard rumours of a great treasure inside it.

The box was open and, at first, nothing. Devin was disappointed.

Then, suddenly, a green hand appeared and grabbed him. Then pulled him inside the box.

The shop owner appeared and picked up the box.

"Got another one" he said, as a large smirk appeared on his face.
